WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MY HYDROGEL?
To replenish your energy losses during exercise, we recommend consuming 1 energy gel, every 45 to 60 minutes.Unlike traditional gels, there is no need to drink water to absorb the gel. Very convenient if you don't have water readily available!
WHAT SHOULD I TAKE IN ADDITION TO MY GEL?
60 g to 90 g of carbohydrates (=sugar) per hour of sport: this is what nutritionists recommend for workouts lasting more than 3 hours. This 53ml gel contains 23g of carbohydrates, including 8.3g of simple sugars.We therefore recommend consuming 500 ml of isotonic drink per hour in addition to the gel. No drink-carrying solution? You can consume this gel on its own, at a rate of 2 to 3 gels per hour.
