The bag components are water-repellent, so they can withstand a short time in light rain. ATTENTION: This backpack is not waterproof and does not come with a rain cover. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with small balls. We then empty the balls into a container with markings on the side, which tells us the equivalent volume in litres.

We perform various lab tests to validate the bag components: fabrics, buckles, straps, padding, zips. For example, for fabric, we test the abrasion and tear resistance, colour-fastness to light and washing, and waterproofing. We also do tests to check the resistance of seams with accelerated wear tests on a mannequin to imitate a hiker\'s movements.

Based on your feedback, we improved the design of our backpack. This bag was tested by many hikers, who provided their feedback on the functions so we could improve the design. For this new model, we added a two-way zip on the main pocket plus a side pocket, and we reinforced the base.
