Never run without your poles.

Along with the whistle - mandatory in many races - which is located in the little chest pocket (hence near your mouth!), this bag also features 2 elastic straps on each side to attach your 3-section trail running poles.

Gaëtan, the evadict product manager, tells the story behind the 15 l ultra-trail running bag:

We wanted a bag that\'ll take you to the end of your trails in complete safety and that can carry all your mandatory gear. We took our customers\' opinions into account, for instance adding the smartphone pocket. We designed it for ultra-trail, the most demanding category there is. Then we did two series of protocolled tests, which yielded excellent results. We\'re proud of this product, we spent a lot of time working on its stability, compartmentalization and accessibility.

Choosing your size

Measure your chest size: XS/S=81-91 cm m/L=92-103 cm XL=104-113 cm

So, what about the water bladder?

Your bag comes with a 2-litre water bladder included, 38 x 18 cm in size. It\'s suitable for temperatures ranging between -20 and +40°C, for water: no milk, no alcohol, and no putting it in the microwave ;) The tube is 100 cm long and you can cut it to whatever length you want!

Loads of design features to make your life easier

Your tube is held in pace by a magnetic attachment: it goes back in its place automatically when you let it go - The kangaroo pocket at the back lets you access your rain jacket in one move - Your smartphone is within easy reach, in a waterproof zipped pocket at the front - The 110 dB safety whistle is incorporated inside a front pocket

not sure what the yellow draw ...

not sure what the yellow draw cords are in rear pockets apart from "tightening" up the fit other wise great pack

Not a terrible starter running...

Not a terrible starter running vest, but not really capable for an ultra. Capacity is fine, but the front pockets are awkwardly spaced and too small, the bladder gets very warm as it's pressed against the back and not insulated, and most importantly, the pack can't be adjusted well so it bounces while running.

Bounces, painful

Bought this because the reviews seem pretty good for the price. I am very disappointed and will be returning after less than 10 mins testing. Put 1.5l of water in the bladder compartment and it bounces so much that running is completely impossible. I think this is because the water bladder compartment gapes open so it is not snug. There is no zip or hook to close the compartment. There are no elastics on the outside of the bag to pull everything tight either. Fabric on the inside of the vest is very scratchy, I did less than 10 mins test inside the house and already got hot points on my back even through a t-shirt. Chest strap fabric is too slippery so I had to tighten them every other step. Waist cinch straps are a great idea in theory but buckles are too chunky and dig into my ribs so badly I had to loosen them which defeats the point. There are lots of pockets (some are very small but maybe useful for compass, whistle etc) and lots of space for layers and fuel. Size seems accurate enough, I measured myself at 34" chest and 27" waist and the XS/S is a tiny bit too big, but I do like a tight fit. Shame about all the negatives making this unusable for me.
