Sharpening

Transport and x-access concept

Supplied in a 1680 denier polyester fabric sheath with Duraflex buckle for greater strength. The X-Access compatible sheath can be attached to a belt or any backpack fitted with X-Access straps.

5cr15 stainless steel

Our engineers have chosen 5Cr15 stainless steel for this knife for 3 reasons: - the steel is sufficiently strong to hold the wire long enough to dress venison for 2 hours. - the steel is soft enough to allow easy sharpening thanks to a hardness of around 56 HRC, and to recover the wire in a few passes on a sharpening base - the steel has a good resistance to corrosion due to its chemical composition.
