Cressi dual-lens mask for underwater hunting, compact and with a small internal volume

Skirt

Flexible part of mask in contact with face.

Silicone

Silicone is an extremely flexible material. A silicone skirt conforms gently to the contours of the face, creating a watertight seal. The material is hypoallergenic.

Micro-adjustment buckles

Micrometric buckles together with the notched strap on either side of the mask allow easy and highly accurate adjustment of the mask, even when wearing gloves.

Equalisation

The mask is pressed against the face when descending. As you dive underwater, pressure is applied to the mask’s soft skirt, reducing the internal volume and pressing the mask against the face. This phenomenon, which can cause pain in the eyes, can be avoided by equalising the internal pressure of the mask and the external pressure exerted by the water. Simple breathe out gently through your nose. Air is very valuable in under water sports, so this equalising effect must be kept to a minimum.

Fog-limiting system

used this on my Advances open water course, can not fault it at all, up to 20m dive no fogging (cleaned properly first)or leaking

Absolutely awful mask

Doesnt create a tight seal so it fills up with water very quickly and fogs up. Considering the cost of this mask its performance is very poor. Now Im spending more to buy a proper mask, should have done that in the first place.
