Top tips
Before you leave, fill the sawdust bag and attach the toilet paper.Installation:- For better stability, install your dry toilet on flat ground.- Open the metal structure,- Open out the arm that supports the sawdust bag,- Make sure that the beige bag is open to the maximum and that the 3 Velcro tabs are fixed onto the structure,- Put a 40 or 50 litre rubbish bag inside the beige bag by turning the edges of the rubbish bag over the outside of the beige bag.
Practical advice
At your campsite, set up your toilet near your tent in a Seconds cubicle (code 8576260 on our Decathlon.fr website).When you are not using your dry toilet, cover it with the black lid by attaching its rubber band to the wooden stand.- Use the sawdust shovel to cover,When you want to change the rubbish bag:- Tie a knot to close it,- Detach the Velcro tabs from the beige bag. Its handles can turn it into a carry bag.

Pro's The quality of constuction is good. The idea is revolutionary It folds very flat which is ideal for packing It is higher than most camping toilets, which is really good The 'poo' container is well supported ( I have a different one that is a three legged stool base, not good) Dry toilets are best for all types of camping as liquids are un natural and are cumbersome to travel with and require special facilities to dispose of. Cons It is somewhat unstable. If the bar that holds the sawdust pouch swung round and fastened to the frame, it would stabilise it . On mine, unlike the video, the black elastic on the lid is very difficult to fasten, they have stinted on the amount of elastic used, but I will alter that. I am putting the black bag over the wooden seat ( as other designs do ) so that there is no under seat gap!!! It would also benefit from a simple locking system when closed. I will be adding one. I would recommend this product as nothing is perfect, but this is near.
