Impossible to thread elastic through pole!

It would be much better if this was supplied with the elastic already threaded through the poles as it is impossible to get it through even with the threading pole!

Arpenaz 4 Tent

3 poles in kit, shortest pole goes at the rear, on first build the pole snapped, most definitely not the right size, I need a replacement which pole do I buy??
