Additional Product informations

A helmet keeps you warm: you don\'t need to wear a hat underneath – in fact, it’s best not to.

Avoid wearing a hat, as this will create a gap between your head and your helmet and reduce your protection. If necessary, opt for a very thin balaclava designed for this purpose. Avoid putting a camera on the helmet, as this will compromise your safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.

En 1077 standard.

Standard EN 1077:2007 is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing and snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resistance to penetration. There are 2 categories: - Class A: protects the top and back of the head, as well as the ears and the side of the head. - Class B: Protects the top and back of the head but does not cover the ears.

Return terms and conditions (specific product: personal protection equipment)

Make sure this product is right for you. Otherwise, you can return it in accordance with our terms and conditions, i.e. with the instructions, labels and, if applicable, the original packaging; it can be refurbished.

Adjust your helmet once you have the right size.

For your kid’s safety, your ski helmet must be properly adjusted: - The head size can be adjusted using the tightening wheel. - The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. They must be able to fit 2 fingers between the strap and their skin. If fitted incorrectly, the helmet will offer less protection.

Abs structure.

This type of structure incorporates an outer shell, made of ABS, injection moulded to withstand powerful impacts. High resistance to bumps and knocks. The internal EPOS skullcap absorbs impact and collision at the time of impact. We recommend changing your kid\'s ski helmet at least every 5 years unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime.

Return conditions specific to personal protective equipment.

Make sure this product is suitable before buying. If it doesn\'t fit, you can return it subject to the following conditions: i.e. with the instructions, labels and, if applicable, the original packaging. it can be refurbished.

When to change your ski helmet?

We recommend changing your ski helmet every 5 years, unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime. In case of severe impact, you need to change the helmet: even if you can’t see it, the inner material may be damaged and your helmet will offer less protection.

How do you choose the right size, and help your kid try on their helmet?

Measure your head circumference (from the middle of the forehead and above the ears) and choose the right size. When trying it on, there should be no discomfort. If it has no visor, try the helmet with the mask: there should be no gap between the two.

Adjustment wheel.

The adjustment wheel plays a key role in keeping your child\'s helmet secure. This system can be easily and precisely adjusted at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with skiing gloves. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.

Decent helmet for my 7 year ol...

Decent helmet for my 7 year old boy

Brilliant Kids Helmet

After seeing me wearing my ski helmet my 3 year old was very specific that he wanted one of his own and he wanted a penguin on it. As you can see this fits the bill perfectly. The adjustment on the back is super easy to use to get a perfect fit and with it being super lightweight my little one absolutely loves wearing it. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Value Helmet

Good value helmet that gives you the security & warmth whilst on the slopes. Looks good as well.
