Why does the kettlebell have a rubber base?
The rubber coating on this kettlebell makes it perfectly adapted for absorbing impacts and protecting your floors from scratching.
How to store your kettlebell
Underneath the rubber layer is cast iron, which can be damaged in the presence of moisture. We recommend storing your kettlebell indoors in a dry place, on a rubber slab (ref: 8651539), to protect your floors. Use a damp cloth or microfibre cloth to look after your kettlebell.

Product Reviews

Robust product at a decent price, delivered quickly.
Bought this as my first KB. Initial impression is good, well made, slightly rough finish (but I found this helped build grip and toughen my hands up). However, it is only after Kettlebell training for a while that you realise not all Kettlebells are equal and that the handle on these is flawed. What I mean by this is that when in the 'clean' racked position, the weight of the base is resting directly on the bone of the wrist just below your hand. Over time this becomes uncomfortable and you miss training days to let the bruising and occasionally swollen wrist go down. Having said that, I have got a lot out of using this bell. Swings have improved massively and it does look great. I now use it for warm up exercises, but for my main workouts I use 'competition bells' from wolverson. More expensive but quality and the ergonomics make it worthwhile.
i have few of these now and they are very good
