Bag volume
Capacity of 50 ml.Bag validated by a test involving 10,000 shocks on the shoulder straps.FORCLAZ ADVICE: When carrying a backpack for a prolonged period, do not carry more than 25% of your own bodyweight to reduce the stresses on your back.
How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. We then we empty these balls into a graduated container which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
Technical tests
We complete laboratory tests to certify components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam, zips... for example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc.A test is then conducted on the finished product replicating the accelerated demands on the bag over the years to check the strength of the assembly.
