Why do you need a pair of fingerless gloves in summer?
Fingerless gloves are there to stop your hands from getting injured from rubbing against ropes, or during manoeuvres. Water softens skin and makes it more fragile. So, these fingerless gloves are essential, even in summer!
Multi-sport
These fingerless gloves were designed with the restrictions of small-boat sailing in mind. Our design choices make them suitable for other sports such as SUP (Stand-up paddle boarding), windsurfing, sea wading or even canoeing/kayaking.
Design
The 500 fingerless gloves integrate a V-shape at the wrist, to make it easier to wear a watch with them. The pull strips at the end of each finger make it easier to remove the gloves.
Materials and manufacturing
The Duragrip (coated polyurethane) on the palm provides excellent grip, while keeping the price affordable. The material on the back of the hand is woven with elastane, which allows us to offer a lightweight glove with natural ventilation that will make you forget you’re even wearing gloves during your summertime sailing trips. The neoprene on the wrist also provides extra support and makes putting the gloves on easier.
Co-design
The 500 fingerless gloves have been redesigned using your feedback. The entire Tribord team has been working hard on continuous improvement, and we’re still all ears for your feedback, which helps us design better products.
Choose the right size
To make the most of all of the features of your fingerless gloves, we’d advise that you select them in a size that fits snugly on your hand. If you choose gloves that are too big, folds will appear, which can irritate the skin and reduce comfort.
