Take on the rain with our hiking jacket! Its 15,000mm H2O (Schmerbers) waterproof fabric keeps you dry, under medium to heavy rain. Performance approved by the JIS standard.

The Schmerber rating measures the waterproofing ability of a fabric. The higher the number, the drier you stay. Our jacket displays 15,000mm H2O (Schmerbers): it can resist the pressure exerted by a 15m column of water.

The membrane? A shield against the rain! Bonded inside the fabric, this magical thin layer deflects the rain while letting perspiration escape. The result? You stay dry both inside and out. On this 2-layer jacket, the membrane is only bonded to the outer fabric.

Start by closing the zips and turn it inside out. Then machine-wash at 30°C. To avoid detergent residue, put a bit less detergent in (for waterproof clothing, if possible) than usual and do a second rinse. Wring out at little as possible to avoid damaging the jacket.
