How does a fleece insulate from the cold?

The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture and the brushing of the knit.This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.This component has been laboratory-tested for a comfort temperature of between 7 and 10°C without any additional jacket.

How is warmth measured?

We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: fleece material and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. Imitating the conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you may encounter in the mountains, helps us to verify our designs.

Why a breathable fleece?

This fleece is designed with a breathable component. It can effectively and quickly wick away perspiration while retaining heat. So you stay dry and comfortable, even during strenuous activity.

How to look after your fleece?

To wash your fleece without damaging it, select a programme with a maximum temperature of 40° and turn it inside out before putting it in the washing machine. Set the spin speed to a maximum of 1000 rpm and avoid using the tumble dryer to protect the fabric.
