This European standard establishes test methods to assess a fabric’s ability to protect against UV rays. It gives a UV protection factor (UPF) based on the fabric’s capacity to block UV rays. The products complying with this guarantee offer a certified level of sun protection.
What criteria does uv protection meet?

How do you measure quick drying speed?
The product is first machine-washed three times, then line dried in the open air. It is then completely immersed in water before measuring the time that passes before returning to its original weight before washing. It achieves this in less than 120 minutes, demonstrating how fast it is to dry.

Worn cycling under helmet. Very good sun protection, visor and fit but I found the webbing feels quite clammy/sweaty - ?? the synthetic largely polyamide mesh material rests against the back of the neck when worn on a road bike under a cycling helmet on a very hot day..
Nice and light
I can't believe I found this niffty piece of equipment. I've been looking for this for ages. Well done decathlon for having it in your inventory. It adjusts really easily, the protection at the back has a hole for my ponytail and when I am out and about the protection does what it is supposed to do - protects the back of my neck. The neutral colour is fabulous.
