Quiksilver

Quiksilver is an Australian company founded in 1969 by two surfers: Alan Green and John Law. Specialising in surf sports, it is now developing ranges of technical equipment and textile products. The European headquarters are located in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

Type

Flip-flops are summer shoes made of a simple rubber sole that is held on the foot by a strap passed between the first two toes of the foot or by straps crossed over the instep. Easy to put on and take off, they leave feet bare and let the air get to them. They can be worn in the water and on sand, letting you walk over a burning hot beach.

Fell apart in a year!

"Practical and sturdy"? Only a year after moderate use the right hand your strap has pulled out of the sole and both leather foot beds have holes in! Useless! And really disappointing as they look nice and feel comfortable. For the price I was expecting more. Instead they're just more landfill!

J’ai porté ce modèle pendant environ 10 ans avant que mon chiot décide d’en faire un jouet. J’ai donc racheté une paire du même modèle mais en une année d’utilisation j’ai la même usure que sur la précédente paire portée pendant 10 ans. Je suis déçu de la perte de qualité de ce modèle et vais devoir chercher un autre modèle pour remplacer celui-ci
