A must-have tool for rural life

To be efficient, you need the right tools. This is clearly the case with these Glenarm 300 wellies. Offering a high level of protection up to the knee whilst also being lightweight and easy to get on and care for, they also promise a good grip in mud thanks to their 5 mm spikes. Plus, they’re also comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, whether you’re on a walk or pottering around the house or farm. These boots have been designed for regular wear, several times a month.

Care instructions for these pvc boots

To keep your wellies in good condition, clean them after each use with water and/or Ph neutral soap (avoid using hard brushes or abrasive sponges). Then wipe them with a cloth or leave them to dry in a well-ventilated place away from heat sources. Store the wellies upright, away from humidity, preferably in a dry and well-ventilated place. It goes without saying that you can go in the water with this pair up to the leg length.

Restrictions on use

These boots aren’t made to take on brambles, dense undergrowth, or barbed wire. The risks of the plastic being pierced or torn is very high in these aggressive environments. They’re perfect for terrain without many brambles that’s muddy and only slightly challenging.

Not very hard wearing, the inner sole is worn and not much room for adding in sole

Excellent product for the price

These are absolutely superb wellies! I bought my first pair of them in August 2020 and they’re still going strong after near-daily use (certainly in the winter months) walking my dog in the fields and woods around where I live. They’re strong and durable and very comfortable to wear. The only reason I’ve purchased a new pair today is because the tread on the soles of my current pair has worn down due to me wearing them so much, so they don’t grip as well as they used to on muddy ground. But not bad going at all, getting over three and a half years’ constant use out of them. I look forward to my new pair lasting me as long! I definitely recommend them.

Winner.. will take some beating.

Purchased these wellingtons in June of 2021, thought I would put them to one side for the winter. However the summer was wet and so they were put to work straight away. It is now Jan 2024 and sadly I have had to retire them to holding plants in the garden. They have been used most days for 3 to 4 dog walks daily on all surfaces, rubble paths, mud, tarmac. wet boggy ground. Snow & ice. They have stayed waterproof and comfortable and gave good grip on all surfaces. The only reason that I have retired them is due to the tread on the sole now wearing thin.. I have had muck boots, mud boots and Grubs and non have performed as these have done. They never split or leaked in. Excellent.
