The size of these gloves is measured in ounces (oz), a British measurement system that is used internationally for boxing gloves. Young boxers should choose the size of their gloves based on their weight. Here are our recommendations for kids:- 6 oz gloves: for kids ages 5 to 12.- For kids over age 12, it's time to move up to adult gloves, starting with an 8 oz size.
